Janelise Gastell
Education
Janelise Gastell has more than a decade of legal experience. Ms. Gastell graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Throughout her undergraduate years at Stetson, Ms. Gastell consistently demonstrated academic excellence, earning recognition on the Dean’s List. Following her undergraduate studies, Ms. Gastell pursued her legal education at Florida Coastal School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree.
During law school, Ms. Gastell gained valuable practical experience through internships with the Department of Children and Families, where she was exposed to child welfare and family services matters, and subsequently with Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, where she began developing her expertise in serving underserved communities, while handling sensitive legal matters with compassion.
Early Career and Legal Aid
Upon beginning her legal career, Ms. Gastell joined a small private practice where she focused primarily on family law matters. She later transitioned to employment with Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, where she expanded her practice areas to include Family Law, Housing, Consumer Law, and Public Benefits. In this role, Ms. Gastell not only provided direct legal representation but also actively participated in and coordinated numerous outreach events and legal clinics throughout the community. Through these initiatives, she worked to promote access to justice by providing civil legal aid services designed to help low-income individuals and families protect their livelihoods, their health, and their families’ wellbeing.
Current Practice at TK Law, P.A.
Since 2018, Ms. Gastell has worked at TK Law, P.A., (formerly Kramer Law Firm). Ms. Gastell strives to provide the best legal representation possible, by finding solutions for clients, and taking a holistic approach to care for clients, navigating difficult situations in their lives. This includes not only family law, but also estate planning and probate law.
Professional Involvement and Leadership
Janelise is a dedicated attorney and active member of the Seminole County legal community. She is actively involved with the Seminole County Florida Association for Women Lawyers (SFAWL) and the Seminole County Bar Association, where she supports the advancement of the legal profession and the importance of community involvement and service. Through her involvement with SFAWL, Janelise has held several leadership positions, including Special Events Chair, Sponsorship Director, and Public Relations and Communications Director. She currently serves as President of SFAWL, where she continues to support the organization’s mission of advancing women in the legal profession, fostering professional development, and strengthening connections within the legal community.
Community and Philanthropy
Beyond her legal practice, Janelise is deeply committed to giving back to the community. She believes that meaningful service extends beyond the courtroom and that even small acts of generosity can make a lasting difference in the lives of others. Her philanthropic efforts have included contributing toys to Toys for Tots, providing school supplies through Tools for Seminole County Schools, donating feminine hygiene products to schools serving low-income students, supplying pet food to local animal rescues, and donating blankets to domestic violence shelters.
Through her professional involvement and charitable efforts, Janelise strives to make a positive impact on the community. She is passionate about supporting women in the legal profession, helping those in need, advocating for children and families, and contributing to organizations that strengthen and uplift the community.

Ms. Gastell guides clients in difficult situations by providing expertise, being transparent, and sharing all options available to identify the pros and cons of each so clients can make the most informed decision for their family.
