Things that you can do to make your criminal consultation with our firm go well. I’m Steve Kramer of the TK Law Firm. I’m a Florida criminal defense attorney. We’re going to talk about how our initial consultation where we sit down together and discuss your case go well. The first thing that’s most important is to bring all of paperwork. Right? So if you were arrested in a traffic stop, I want the ticket. I want the arrest report. I want everything that came up, all of the paperwork, everything. Bring it all. Same thing holds true if you’re arrested for any other charge, I want all of the documentation. Because that’s going to allow me to make an informative decision as to how we’re going to approach your case and the strategy we’re going to take. The other thing that I want you to do is try to best recall what happened and be prepared to give me the story –the story of what happened in your case. What led up to it, what happened when you interacted with the police, and what happened afterwards. I want to know everything – who, what, when, where, how, why. The more I know, the better advice I can give you in your case and the better I can predict what’s going to happen in your case. Now, this isn’t all we need to talk about. There’s going to be information that is going to come out as the case proceeds. But this is going to give us a really good start to represent you in the way you want to be represented and help you with the charges that you are facing. And that’s why I’m telling you about this. Because if you’re facing criminal charges, you’re probably wondering what’s next and you’re feeling a lot of anxiety because your freedom is at stake. I deal with this every day.
